I trained as a music therapist in 1989 and have worked in music ever since (and before!) I sometimes work with adults, but my main experience is with children of all ages - including those with various disabilities. I play flute, piano, guitar and sing, and do all sorts with music, ranging from individual music therapy sessions to rhythm / song-writing workshops for groups of all sizes; I run an all age singing group in my village, I run music groups for toddlers and run a youth group for teenagers, and am happy working with most age-groups; I also do quite a lot of training others, and enjoy performing. I have composed for various genres and have collaborated with my sister - Esther Baker - and her work with Synergy Theatre Company, working with prisoners and ex-prisoners in and around London.
