Kate Murdoch

Kate Murdoch specialises in music for wellbeing, using 'ilimba' (thumbharps from the Wagogo tradition of Tanzania) and traditional songs, following studies in East Africa. She currently works as a musician in hospital as part of Rhythmix's 'Wishing Well' programme, using live interactive music as a tool for wellbeing at the bedsides of babies and children in hospital and hospices, and with older adults with dementia.
