“In An Octopus’s Garden” Wishing Well at The Alex

We are delighted to launch an evaluation report of our Wishing Well Music in Healthcare programme at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. This report, created by East Midlands based organisation Well Within Reach, offers insights and resources for people working in the field of Culture and Health who are interested in deepening their understanding of how participatory music making can build relationships that benefit everyone on the hospital ward.

What an amazing year - thank you to everyone who made it happen!

2018 - Another year of stories, awards, and making music at Rhythmix!

We all know someone who benefits from what we do at Rhythmix. We all have experiences of friends or family members spending time in hospital, with a physical or learning disability, with Dementia, or mental health issues.

We’ve been using music to build a bridge to help people connect again.

We want to thank everyone who’s made this fantastic year possible - our staff, tutors, participants, families, partners, funders and supporters - thank you!

As the group developed Jack was given the opportunity to peer mentor new people joining due to his considerable musical knowledge.
