Rhythmix - Case Study


Lisa was in year 8 with a history of being bullied, was highly anxious, and was on the Child Protection Register. Her inappropriate responses to peers were putting her at high risk of exclusion. She has an interest in performing arts and used sessions with Rhythmix to develop her confidence and experiment in new musical styles.

The programme has helped her raise her confidence and interaction skills with peers and the music hse has produced has helped change the opinion others have of her, moving her safely back into her mainstream school.
