Rhythmix - Case Study


George was a Year 9 student permanently excluded from school for continued disruptive behaviour, violent incident and poor attendance. On entry to the PRU he was highly anxious and refused to engage much in the programme offered to him,

Working in group and then 1-2-1 with Rhythmix to produce a number of pieces of music which helped his esteem. He also collaborated with other students to provide them music to their raps. On integrating back into mainstream school he opted for GCSE music technology.

His behaviour, attendance and anxiety levels have improved radically
