About Us

Rhythmix is a music and social welfare charity that provides opportunities for music making to people in challenging circumstances.

We believe in the power of music to transform lives and that everyone should have the chance to express themselves through music. Music making gives people the opportunity to gain independence, an insight into their skills, hone their talents and a chance to engage with professional musicians as their Rhythmix tutors.

We work with vulnerable people across the South-East including children and young people (in care, with disabilities, with mental health problems, in hospital and hospices), people who are homeless and older people with dementia.

We are supported by public donations and through our partner organisations.

"You've managed to spread the project around to enable as many children as possible to have musical input"
